V. Good show with a few issues

I’ve loved Diana Krall’s music for years and was excited when I found out she was performing at the Broward Center. The performance began with a few of my all time favorites sung perfectly in Ms. Krall’s silky, smoky manner. The latter part of the show seemed to spotlight the three musicians accompanying her which was fine. My only critical comments are that first, I wish the Broward Center would ban cellphones totally. I found the light from my phone the phones screens (one two seats from us) plus beeping with texting was very distracting. The occasional bottle rolling down aisles didn’t help. Also, I wish Ms. Krall had stood up to face the audience during the show. She sat at the piano the whole time and our seats were on the side facing her back. Minor complaints about an otherwise superb show.
